Another great option for lunch!

This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants near the UT campus! I got the White Sauce Plate which had rice with choice if meat or veggies as well as a salad! I loved the balanced aspect of the dish as well as the flavorful spices!

I ordered the Crazy Sauce Platter with Chicken and Eggplant. It was one of the best Mediterranean meals I have had in my life. The balance between white and red sauce was perfect. The chicken and eggplant both had great flavors. I definitely recommend to anyone in the Austin area!

This place is amazing!! Mediterranean food is among my favorite types, so any time I get a chance to try a new place, I always try to find the best thing on the menu. I ordered the jalapeno plate with gyro, and a side of fries. The jalapeno sauce was so good, and the rice ans salad reallt complemented it as well. The fries were good with the white sauce on the side. I highly recommend Halal Corner if you are in the mood for Mediterranean, or if you are just wanting a delicious restaurant.

This is better than Kismet! The name is truely kismet 2.0. Everything is better about this store. The service, the thickness and taste of the sauce, the perfect cook of the sauce. I got the crazy plate which is a combination of white sauce and jalapeno sauce. The eggplant was roasted perfectly. Since the quantity of food is large, i highly recommend the extra sauce. The red sauce is actually spicy so beware to those who don’t like spice.

I got the jalapeno sauce over rice and eggplant! I love the eggplant here - it tastes almost like cream melting in your mouth. This is definitely my favorite place in austin for Mediterranean food!
