Fonda San Miguel

Such a gorgeous restaurant, from the exterior to the food. The duck enchiladas were phenomenal, with a unique poblano spinach sauce. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at our first time at Fonda San Miguel. Not only is the exterior and interior completely impeccable with beautiful foliage, & authentic Mexican decor and artwork, but the vibe is 10/10 as well. The tacos were some of the best we’ve had, and we loved all our cocktails. Oh - and the espresso was by far the best in ATX - unmatched, and reminded me of the coffee I’ve become obsessed with from Mexico. Run, don’t walk, to Fonda San Miguel! Reservation required.

The decor at Christmas is very festive, lots of lights and decorations inside. Food was incredible, very delicious traditional Mexican food. We ordered guacamole for the table, the tacos al carbon, enchiladas de pato, and the mixiote (lamb wrapped in parchment). Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
