Casa Vega

For “Ghouls Night Out” we went to Casa Vega. This is an iconic family owned Mexican Restaurant in the Valley. Have you ever been?

This is a Ventura Blvd iconic restaurant. My favorite item on the menu is a Guava Margarita don’t come here for the service come here for the Hollywood history and the classic feel. Fun Fact Quentin Tarantino has his own drink here and he also filmed a scene from his last movie “ Once upon a time in Hollywood” #moviehistory

I’ve been going to Casa Vega restaurant for many years. Since I don’t live in the area, it’s not that often that I get out here. The food is always f good quality but there’s a few things that I would like to see improvements on. First and foremost, I like a little bit of freshness/ firmness to my cooked veggies. The cook them in a way that they’re kind of soft. I enjoyed the chicken fajitas and the chicken was good, but I just wasn’t thrilled with the vegetables. The Mango Margaritas are great!

Cute place that’s been a staple of the valley forever. The Ensenada fish tacos were amazing. I also got the table side Caesar salad. It wasn’t worth the price. The burrito was ok, but I’ve had better. They have a Jalisco old fashion that uses tequila instead of bourbon. Street metered parking or valet available.

The history here is so cool! It’s now woman owned an operated I like that!
