sauce was too sweet for me.

I loved the eggplant pork more than the steak. The steak is what they’re known for because they only make 25 but the flavor in the spicy eggplant is unmatched.

Service was great and food on point! Serving is larger in person than the photos. Left satisfied and got my rice bowl fix. Will definitely be back to try the other choices!

Had the eggplant rice and eel rice bowls. Both were very good. There’s scorched rice at the bottom is a nice cleansing dish.

Damsot is a new restaurant in LA that serves Korean home cooked meals. I went to South Korea recently and the flavor is on par with that of its homeland. I got the steak with rice and it was amazing!! Definitely will be coming back here in the future!

Tried the eggplant and pork bowl and the shrimp—both were solid! The pork bowl had great flavor with just the right amount of spice, and the eggplant was soft and nicely seasoned. The shrimp were fresh and perfectly cooked, though I wish the portion was a bit bigger. Overall, really tasty comfort food and quick service. Would definitely come back to try a few more dishes next time.
