Decent izakaya in Sawtelle. They have wide selection from yakitori to ramen to tebasaki and even cold tofu dish

I used to come to this place years ago before I even got married. Years later I took my kids here and that LOVE it!

Not a huge fan. We had the teba-saki wings, tarzan half chicken, and the nasu soboro. The chicken was really dry and overcooked, which I heard was the style of cooking. The nasu soboro was good, a little too rich for me.

Great Japanese-style chicken wing spot located in Sawtelle. If you’re ever in a jam on parking, this place has a parking lot which is rare for Sawtelle. I ordered the lunch combo 2-items (wings and mackerel) which is my go-to lunch order. I really love their side cabbage slaw salad with miso dressing. Hope you’ll try Furaibo.

Affordable lunch specials and free parking along Sawtelle, it’s a win-win. Really great value for the ribeye lunch special. The hanpen cheese is still deliciously gooey. It’s been years since I’ve been and it was nice to see that the food is good as I remember. Great service as well.
