As much as I like garlic and would want to return. There are many factors that made me reconsider. One of them is the food quality. I have been to Garlic & Chives many times, every time I go the quality declines a little bit. And it’s disappointing. Even though, I understand very well the reason for all the others things. I believe food quality should never decline.

Orange County–bound — Vietnamese food is a must. It’s always so good and satisfying.

Claypot catfish is silky rich and delicious

Salmon belly was good. Clay pot fish was a bit salty.

If u like oc and lau but dont like to wait, this restaurant is the next best thing. Bigger portions less wait times, and very friendly servers! The only down side is the seafood here is grilled to black, our first round was good but the second round of seafood was smoking up from being over cooked. Overall, the decor is nice and food taste good great for groups because theres selections for sharing like hot pot and rice dishes.
