Penelope’s Coffee & Tea

Had the chorizo burrito and it was pretty good! A bit oily but still flavorful

I had the best time at Penelope’s Coffee & Tea in downtown SF! The name “Penelope” is inspired by a real woman in Crete, Greece, known for her warmth, kindness, and legendary gatherings full of good coffee and homemade meals. Now, her great-grandsons are carrying on that legacy in the tastiest way possible. We sipped on refreshing teas—Mojito and Party at the Beach. We also tried a bacon womlette (waffle + omelette), a chicken apple sausage breakfast burrito, and a flaky, creamy bougatsa.
