Cafe Shoji in SF! Clarification: this is a review of their daytime cafe. A cafe in the day, and a cocktail bar/restaurant at night, this place is so cool. It is in a prime location in Soma, so it might take a bit to find parking nearby. I had the matcha einspanner, which was plenty sweet which was well-balanced to the mildly bitter matcha.

Handmade matcha drinks, by a Michelin chef? Say no more! And top it off with a vibey bar, an extensive dinner menu, and freshly baked pastries. What can’t Shoji do?

Matcha Einspannner

$25 per drink with tax/tip for beautiful cocktails. HOWEVER, they look and sound better than they taste :( food was ok (ceviche with the tom kha sauce was solid) but the rice crackers were super messy to eat with due to the seaweed dusting on them and tuna tartar special was actually nothing special at all
