Sana’a Cafe

Love this spot! It gets busy and crowded but it’s because it’s good

Spacious coffee shop in central Hollywood serving Yemeni coffee which I have never tried before so something a bit different to a boring chain cafe.

pistachio latte is absolutely delicious here

Adeni Chai tastes great. I think the best cake is their rose cake. I also tasted the saffron cake, which is more plain tasting to me. Inside a beautiful historic building called Taft and within walking distance to Amoeba Records. This is a Yemeni cafe, Muslim-friendly and open late. The weekend hours they are open until 1 AM so this is a great late-night hang out spot. Groups like to hang here and some people bring laptops.

This is a new coffee shop across from the Pantages Theater. They have Yemeni style coffee and tea with a variety of pastries and cake slices. The decor is beautiful with high ceilings, lots of windows and seating. They have one bathroom (ask staff for key)
