Hidden down Cortlandt Alley, this spot (famous in Chicago) knows how to do a burger right. The Double Cheeseburger with Farm Egg and Bacon is a must, but the Shaved Prime Rib and Fried Bologna should not be missed, and best for your arteries if shared four-way. And of course, you can't not get that oversized Mille Feuille dessert, as you fall into a food coma shortly thereafter, but oh so worth it. Wear your stretchy pants for this meal, you'll thank me.

The fried bologna sandwich is out of this world! Served with melted cheese and dijonnaise, it’s rich and creamy!

Au Cheval’s NYC location is just as good as their original in Chicago. Love the burger with added bacon and egg. Incredible!
