Carbone is located at 181 Thompson Street, between Bleecker and West Houston Streets, in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York, NY 10012.
Carbone is a celebrated Italian-American restaurant on historic Thompson Street in Greenwich Village, opened in 2013 by Chef Mario Carbone, Chef Rich Torrisi, and Major Food Group co-founder Jeff Zalaznick. The menu draws on the culinary traditions of Little Italy, shaped by Chef Carbone's upbringing in Queens and a formative year spent cooking in Italy. The space is glamorous and theatrical, with captains in Zac Posen tuxedos, original artworks by Julian Schnabel, and neon signage glowing above the former Rocco restaurant. Guests rave about the spicy rigatoni and lobster ravioli, both served perfectly al dente. The atmosphere suits date nights, business outings, and special group occasions alike.
