Gadabout

GAHH - Gadabout is my favorite #andersonville #chicago restaurant! Known for globally inspired small plates, bring friends to try more. The fried #potatoes are a must (tamarind, masala spiced and crisped in a castiron), but my new fav is their braised #tofu which uses silken tofu that’s deep fried and smothered in a sweet sesame soy glaze. Took the server’s suggestion to sop it up with their grilled #flatbread.

Gadabout is one of the true gems we’ve been to in Andersonville. The typical recommendation is to get 2-3 dishes per person. Their menu states that gadabout means a “habitual, pleasure-seeking world traveler”, and their menu reflects it with clever and unique takes on different cuisine. Among our favorites are the fried potatoes which have tamarind and chaat masala cream, one thing we’ve gotten each time. This a foodie destination in Chicago with incredible service #chicago #foodie
