Ichiran is a ramen spot with a few locations in NYC. You order and pay for the ramen in the front of the restaurant after waiting in line. They don’t take reservations so there is always a wait. You can customize the broth, toppings, and firmness of the noodles. Then you go in and sit at individual seats separated by dividers. Very unique, quiet, and cozy experience. The broth was tasty and light. Noodles were straight thin noodles but I prefer the wavy thicker ones. No tip required.

Ramen was great and service was very fast. I loved how they put separated the meat, noodles, and toppings into separate boxes. I went alone and the individual stalls makes an introverts dream spot. Would definitely come here again
