Marugame has some of the best udon I’ve eaten! Their noodles are always so bouncy and chewy, and I love seeing all the different tempuras they have! You can get hot soup or even a cold sauce!

This udon spot in San Diego is a fantastic find for noodle lovers. The hand-pulled noodles are incredibly fresh and have the perfect chew, paired with a rich, flavorful broth that’s so satisfying. The casual atmosphere and quick service make it a great place for a comforting meal, whether you’re in the mood for something simple or a heartier bowl like curry udon. Definitely a place I’d return to!

Great affordable udon with delicious tempura. I usually just go with the plain Kake udon which is below $8 and add tempura on the side.

No complaints! First time here, love the cafeteria style ordering process and the service was great! Get the #1 Nikutama. I really liked the self serve tempura station too. Already looking forward to my next visit!

the udon + broth was so savory & super smooth. 10/10 esp w the price. $14 for a reg bowl was calling my name HAHA. they do have side dishes, but they were per item w each being >$6 each. just don’t get too carried away w side dishes or check will rack up LOL
