CoCo Ichibanya - Convoy

Great casual lunch spot in Convoy! Japanese curry is one of my favorite comfort foods and Coco Ichibanya has amazing omelet curry rice dishes! I love the pork or chicken cutlets and veggie croquettes that you can add. Big portions, so great value!

Cozy curry spot with friendly staff and a wide variety of curry combos, including plenty of vegetarian options. The curry sauce was rich and flavorful—perfect with the pork cutlet and vegetables!

The food was great and surprisingly affordable. We thoroughly enjoy our orders and already planning the next trip. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The only gripe was the long line. We dined with a toddler and a baby so the wait was almost too much.

I love venturing to new neighborhoods to find new good food! Coco curry is exceptional. I love how customizable the meal is. From the heat level 1-12 I believe, to adding a variety of sides such as mushroom or veggie base. I chose the cheese base curry with chicken katsu and a spice level of 7. The katsu was super crispy and tasty. The curry so flavorful, I think I did good on the spice level. Maybe I’ll be brave and go up one more level! The meal is so filling!!
