Momofuku Noodle Bar

This Momofuku location is located in Columbus Circle Shops. The pork bun was great. Crispy and fatty. Yum. The ramen was not bad, but nothing to rave about. I liked the poached egg in the ramen. Got the smoked pork ramen. Got a mango pina colada. Yum. Nice, casual spot to have ramen and chat.

Incredible drinks- simple but upscale and excellently done. Appetizers were amazing, especially the hand rolls, rice cakes, and steamed buns w/ shrimp patties. The pork ramen was a perfect version of pork ramen, but not the most exciting. Didn’t realize this location was in the mall until we got there, but the atmosphere made it really easy to forget it was in a mall.

Momofuku Uptown has a variety of ramen, sushi, noodle and dinner options. I really liked the Ginger Scallion Noodles and warm cookie for dessert. The space is bigger than the East Village location with more comfortable seating.

I enjoyed the food at Momofuku. The salad was very tasty with yuzu dressing and the Ginger Scallion Noodles had a nice mix of cucumber. I added hot sauce for additional flavor.

It was busy and festive, as the restaurant was decorated for Halloween. We added our party to the wait list and browsed a nearby shop in the mall for 10 minutes until we received a text message that our seats were ready. We sat at the chef's counter, where we could see food being prepared at the kitchen. Service was friendly. The food was delicious and many dishes had an innovative twist.
