Toca Madera Scottsdale

Food was amazing but the service wasn’t that great. Drinks were good.

Toca Madera is the perfect place for a party or celebration. We came here for a bachelorette party and it was one of my favorite moments of the trip. Not only are their food & drinks amazing, but you get a show while you dine as well.

I really wanted to love this place. The interior is stunning, airy, and minimalistic with a darker bar in the back. The music playing in the background is energetic. (Also, there’s a photo booth back there, which wasn’t working). While all of the cocktails are fantastic, the food and service need a lot of work. The sea bass ceviche had no tang/acidity, smelled and tasted fishy, with a bitter aftertaste 🤢 the guac also lacked a lot of flavor. The chips and salsa were the only winners … oh well.

Such a fun, new restaurant! Upscale Mexican food with a huge cocktail menu. The decor in this place really sets it apart, dim lights, trees and firepits inside, good music and trendy vibe. Be sure to make a res in advance as this is a hot spot!! 🔥🔥

Truly, a special meal. They were able to accommodate a large party of 18 for us and made it’s a memorable night for sure! The foods were surprisingly great and drinks were flowing
