Aree is a new local cafe that has delicious stacked toasts available! When I saw they had a pandan toast, I knew I had to get it! It was actually not too sweet, but had a great depth of pandan flavor! This small local business definitely needs some more recognition!

Newest late night cafe in San Diego. Aree is located in Convoy inside the Keap Coffee House. It’s open late so it’s the perfect place to grab a late night sweet treat, hang with friends, or get some work/studying done. There’s lots of parking and inside seating.

We got a couple flavors and really enjoyed them! Our fave was the Kaya toast!

The Blue Banana was super delicious, I generally love sweet drinks and banana and this seemed perfectly balanced. I wish I could add espresso shot or two to it because I think that would be amazing too. The Black Sesame toast was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, not overly sweet and definitely something I would also order again.

We wanted to try this place after seeing it on TikTok. The toasts were so yummy! I love the aesthetic. My fave would have to be the Kaya toast! 😋 I got the Thai toast and the only thing I would add to make it better would be adding ice cream! Nonetheless, my friends and I had a great time!
