I love their merveilleux cakes, absolutely love them!! The vanilla waffles - though not as great as what I had at Meet in Paris, they aren't bad either and definitely something you will love if you like vanilla flavor. My husband always visits this place if we are in the city, so you can imagine how much we love the place. New Favorite Dessert Discovered! Mini meringue #cakes from Aux Merveilleux are so light & decadent-they literally feel like some dreamy floating #dessert (& I am not exaggerating). Traditional to #Flanders region in Europe, this was my 1st ever time trying it & OMG! The Merveilleux is an 18th century #Belge cake and this store (original one in Lille) developed the version that is famous everywhere. Luckily NYC has 2 stores by them!Also tried their traditional vanilla filled waffles for 1st time!
