I stopped by @bar.kamon, a 1920’s Japanese-style speakeasy, to check out their special pairing! Butter Sautéed Hokkaido Scallop with Konbu infused sake cocktail “Jiro’s Dream Breakfast” 🥂 Tip: be sure to arrive when the ice cream cone is LIT 😉🍦

Bar Kamon offers an intimate speakeasy vibe with a focus on experimental cocktails that push boundaries. On my second visit, however, the drinks felt overly adventurous and didn’t quite suit my taste. While the creativity and presentation are impressive, the flavors seemed unbalanced, leaving me underwhelmed. It’s a unique spot worth trying if you’re open to bold, unconventional mixes, but it may not appeal to everyone’s palate.
