I enjoyed the free focaccia bread and basil oil dip they provide in a brown paper bag. The pastas were delicious and fresh, but slightly salty. The ambiance is soothing with the brown earth tones, but lively during dinner. Our server was quick and attentive on a busy Saturday night in Little Italy.

I watched Chef Pietro at Civico 1845 make his pappardelle brassato and linguine alle vongole. The short rib ragu was tender and rich. The clams were fresh and cooked in a simple garlic and white wine sauce. 

There’s a whole vegan section of the menu at Civico 1845 ! Decided to try the vegetarian eggplant pasta & was very happy with the hearty roasted flavor of the eggplant & tomato and high quality house made pasta. Would definitely recommend!

Civico 1845 is chique 19th century rustic well rounded goodness! loved there though noodled carbonara with beef sauce. the salmon had a crisp sear with delicious broccolini with poignant and full flavor.

the heart of Italia sits big here in Little Italy, where there are muchisimo options, hearty savory options that satisfy and satiate and friendly helpful service. was able to get seating around busy July 4th, spacious and quick to accommodate.
