Tahini is a Middle Eastern street food restaurant on Clairemont Mesa Blvd in San Diego, founded by two best friends with a passion for authentic flavors. Guests build their own pita, rice bowl, or salad with proteins like falafel, chicken shawarma, or steak shawarma, then finish with house-made sauces and add-ons. Signature items include the M.T.W. pita, The Esquire, and the beloved tahini fries. The spot earned a feature on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and all meat is halal. The space has a casual, cultural feel with outdoor seating, and suits everything from a solo lunch to a family outing.
