Cow by Bear is a dinner party experience experiment, specializing in 45 day dry-aged ribeye. Reservations only. Established in 2011. In the middle of 2011, the Bear decided to take his hobby public. For years, he had been cooking up a ribeye that friends and family declared was the best in San Diego. Finally, he decided to open it up to guests and create an authentic dinner party experience. Since then, there has not been an empty seat in the house. Every Saturday, ten guests, often complete strangers, get down on a seasonal taste, 2 courses, main course ribeye, dessert and fine wine pairings that won't be found anywhere else in San Diego.
