Flavors of East Africa has been serving authentic Kenyan food in San Diego since 1995, bringing bold, aromatic flavors to the North Park neighborhood. The menu celebrates East African cooking through curries, stews, sambusas, and combination plates that pair seasoned meats with hearty vegetables. Guests rave about the crispy sambusas, jerk chicken, and saffron coconut rice, all known for their generous portions and vibrant flavor. Flavors of East Africa has two San Diego locations. The North Park restaurant is at 2322 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92104. A second location, Flavors Express, is at 5157 College Ave, Unit C, San Diego, CA 92115, near SDSU.
