This place is great for a night out with friends! All dishes are served family style, which I love coz you get to try more things! We had the bison tartare, albacore, their chicory ceasar salad, crab salad with toast and the country ham with cane butter! One of their must dishes is the corn bread! That was incredible. Although they only serve wine and beer, they have an eclectic wine selection.

This is a classy burger. An adult burger, if you will. Top quality meat, onion jam, duck fat fries, and pickled veggies. But I think because of the elegance of the plate it doesn’t satiate me the way a different style of burger I mentioned in the video does. If you can make it, def give it a try!

This place is the ultimate laid back LA dinner vibe. The food and drinks are top notch and the pork chop and cornbread are the best I’ve ever had in my whole life

The best southern food you can find in LA. Everything is cooked over hearth or handmade. Such a special place!!! Must order the cornbread and green chili. You won’t regret it!

Came for my husband’s birthday. Food and service are excellent. It’s a little rich/heavy flavor wise to visit regularly but great for a special occasion!

Hardest reservation to get, but it was packed when we got there at 6pm. Was seated at the counter which was a great vibe and even better getting an up close view of owner/chef preparing dishes. Came here for the famous cornbread which I first had at hatchet hall, the owners previous restaurant, it did not disappoint. Other standout dishes were the wood roasted oysters and the black mussels (biggest mussels I’ve ever ver seen). Service was just ok but overall a great dining experience.
