Mokkoji Shabu Shabu

we split a large, so it came out to 22 per person. but we got charged for splitting

I think Mokkoji is my favorite shabu experience. Great meat selection, love the sauces, and they have a pretty good sake and beer selection as well.

First time trying Shabu Shabu and it was such a fun experience. Bring your appetite as the portions are huge!

Shabu is a fun active meal where you get to cook your own meat in your broth! So delicious!

We absolutely loved our time here. The place is clean, the service is so friendly and the food was delicious. Everything here is a la carte, there are plenty of options, and we found the portion sizes to be generous! I ordered spicy pork broth, the Mokkoji cut beef, and we shared 2 yakitori skewers, which totaled to about $40 with tip and tax. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing selections of broth, appetizers, and meats. We had a blast, everything tasted amazing. My only complaint was that it wasn't all you can eat. I wanted to order 1000 more plates but I would probably be in debt if I did. In the end the meal was great, you'll want to keep on ordering. I recommend the spicy miso or spicy chicken broth paired with the flat iron steak. I want to try their wagyu next time, because I definitely will be returning.
