This hidden gem was worth every penny!! Located in a tiny strip mall next to 7-11, Sushi Ota has made it to the top of my list with the freshest fish, atmosphere and attentive service you can get in San Diego! Parking was a little tricky, so plan accordingly around your reservation. Here are a few my top picks! 😍

Sushi Ota is one of the best sushi spots in all of San Diego. Their sashimi, nigiri and even rolls are the most amazing and freshest fish in San Diego. The ambience is clean. The service is amazing and I will only go to the sushi spot from now on 10 out of 10. I recommend the salmon Sushi and dragon roll.

Good sushi for the price

Came here because it was highly rated on google maps, and for a strip mall sushi joint I’d say it’s solid. For the price point, I’d say everything was solid (a little bit better than what u might find at like Yama sushi in LA tbh) Parking was kind of a nightmare, but waited in the lot for a couple minutes for a spot to open up.
