Tako - San Diego

Tako is an insanely tasty new speakeasy in old town! From delicious drinks, to their Mexican-Asian fusion cuisine, it's the perfect spot for your next date night. I was super impressed with everything about this spot.

Tako is located in Old Town and bring the Tulum jungle vibes. The spot is very intimate and has a DJ onsite. They have very creative cocktails, great spot for drinks! We tried: 🍣 El Sueño Roll: Imitation Krab, Shrimp Tempura, Avocado, Yellowtail, Spicy Mayo, eel Sauce, Serrano 🍣 XXX: Imitation Krab. Tempura Shrimp, Avocado, Cucumber, Wagyu Beef, Lobster, Shallots, White Truffle 🍣 Crispy Plantains: Topped with Spicy Tuna, Avocado, Pickled Fresno Chili, Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce 📍 2836 Juan St.

Tako was definitely a hidden gem in San Diego. You walk up the stairs and feel like you’re in Tulum. The sushi was so good and they had so many fun, unique drinks. The DJ was soo good! He was playing good music the whole time. I will definitely be returning.

Thrilled for live music the DJ sets and the sushi is fresh. The drinks are amazing. The people are wonderful. The ambience is inviting. Make sure you check it out girls night ,guys night ,pregame, best thing is you can also end the night here. They don’t close till midnight Best late night spot in old town

Beautiful place. The food was good but quite expensive for the portions. Drinks were a little light on the booze and heavy on the price tag, but visually stunning.
