Food & service are amazing. Definitely make a reservation. quaint place. loved it. Lots of sake options too. Definitely more of date night or groups of 4 and under people. A bit loud, but will definitely be going back again.

one of the best in San Diego. Sake recommendations are solid. The wasabi beef tongue in broth is so tasty.

Best Yakitori in town!

The yakitori skewers were absolutely delicious. Each piece was perfectly grilled, with a great balance of smoky flavor and juicy tenderness. The seasoning was simple but really brought out the natural taste of the meat. I would definitely come back again just for these amazing skewers.

Yakitori Taiso

Another great place to get Yakitori in San Diego. This time we’re at the Yakitori Taisho. The item we really loved were 1. Pork Shiso 2. Beef Daikon 3. Quail Eggs 4. Chicken thighs The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. We call ahead around 4pm and were booked for 5:30pm.
