Rakiraki Ramen and Tsukemen is a San Diego spot rooted in authentic Japanese izakaya-style street food, founded by Tokyo-born Executive Chef Junya Watanabe. Inspired by his Tokyo restaurants Yuboku and Hachibei, Watanabe brought bold flavors like karaage donburi, 27-spice Japanese curry, and handcrafted specialty sushi rolls to Mira Mesa. One of his signature innovations is the mochi noodle, which incorporates mochi for a uniquely chewy, satisfying texture.
