Rockin Baja Lobster Old Town

Celebrated Aunt’s birthday here. They said they liked the food last time they were here in April 2025. Seafood was supposed to be steam/boiled, but we got a fried one?

Lots of flavor! We had chips and salsa pina colada. We ordered the tacos tres amigos and the baja surf and turf bucket!

Rockin' Baja Lobster has some great menu choices. We went to hang out with some family while in town.

Came here for restaurant week and this was a great deal! The lobster was meaty and the service was excellent. Glad we stopped by! Don’t skip the fried ice cream

One of the most popular Baja seafood in San Diego. It’s located in old town. We love the atmosphere and lots of seafood. The food is delicious too!

Baja lobster at Rockin’ Baja in Old Town comes in large, shareable buckets, but reviews say the lobster portions feel small for the price and can be inconsistent in quality. The atmosphere is lively and casual, with a salsa bar and good chips, but service and food are hit or miss. Fun with friends, but not the best spot if you’re seeking outstanding lobster.

Had a great time at Rockin’ Baja in Old Town! I ordered the taco sampler — the lobster taco was my favorite, but the carne asada and shrimp were also delicious. The free unlimited chips and salsas were excellent and super fresh. It’s always a fun, lively spot with great food and atmosphere. Definitely one of my top choices in Old Town San Diego!

We always come back to Rockin’ Baja Old Town. The lobster tacos are my absolute favorite—so flavorful and always a must-order. Consistently great food and a fun atmosphere.
