The Trails Eatery

The Trails Eatery is a great spot to enjoy some bites and delicious drinks after a hike nearby! We loved all of their drink specials, which included a Matcha Strawberry and a Lavender Matcha!

The Croissant French Toast is next level. This is a place where you place your order up front, then have a seat and they bring everything to you. The line can get long but the food is worth it. Plenty of parking.

This San Carlos brunch spot is easily one of our favorite local establishments. They feature breakfast sweets, omelettes, sandwiches, bennies, and most importantly for me - a gluten free menu.

I hadn't come back to The Trails for a few years - since the revamp - and it is now a much more updated diner where you order at the counter instead of at the table. But I'm happy to say the service is still extremely friendly, and the food quality is still excellent! Came with a group of 6 at 11:30 on a Saturday and it was busy but we didn't have a wait. I got the garden benedict with a side of fruit and a coffee. The benedict was decent. I feel like it needed more salt all around. The English muffin seemed to be the saltiest part. The fruit was a good variety. The coffee was a small cup but you can get refills.
